Veteran actor and superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Both Big B and Abhishek Bachchan informed all fans on Twitter. Soon after, it was reported that the father-son duo were admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. Apart from the Gulabo Sitabo and Breathe stars, Amitabh and Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive for the virus today. Now, from Mumbai's Nanavati hospital, Amitabh Bachchan has a message for all his fans waiting to hear from him.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me .. I put my hands together and say ..Thank you for your eternal love and affection..”

In his tweet, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned that it will not be possible for him to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and well wishes expressed by fans. But the Gulabo Sitabo actor continued to thank the well wishers with folded hands for their eternal love and affection towards son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan and him. 


Meanwhile, Jaya Bachchan tested negative for COVID-19.  Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya will be quarantined at home as they were stable and asymptomatic. Earlier today, it was reported that a 26-member BMC team had started sanitizing Amitabh Bachchan’s residence ‘Jalsa’ and the other two bungalows.
